How to add a signature

I've seen people ask how to do this in earlier posts so I made a quick "how to"

How to add a signature

If you have a signature on your computer and need to place it somewhere then head over to one of these sites and upload your file
http://www.imageshack.us
http://www.photobucket.com

Once uploaded you should have a direct link to your avatar/sig, it should look something like this:

Go to User CP and there click on Edit Signature

To add the image in your signature, add image tags before and after the URL as follows
the URL to your image

and then place it in the box


And you're done :)

Wow... I'm still new to the world of siggys, but finally received a functional mouse with two working buttons yesterday, so FINALLY made my first uploads to photobucket.

Thanx for your info on the urls... because THAT's one area where ive been soooo very much more than usual totally lost...

it seems that non ezboards don't allow as much room for sigs, and i've made a mess of things trying to deal with that, too.

Soooo.. anything that i can find out is VERY much appreciated...

okay someone, can anyone tell me how I delete a picture so I may add a new one?, just wondering being I would like to add something that has to do with my leprechaun friend

Hi, you just replace the picture code with the new one. In otherwords if your current image is bear.gif and the new one is leprechaun.gif then use the new file name. :)

please help, i lost my signature a while ago (my animal muppet) and this is all I get now. I tried another pic but it did the same thing. What am I doing wrong? lol - miss computer literate here - not!!! lmao

It looks like you may need to add a / right before your second image tag....so instead of you should have

That's just my first guess as to what the problem might be....The Boss Lady is much better at these things :)
