Well I got a Jury Duty Summons

I almost forgot that I have report in the morning! :rolleyes: It would be my luck to get picked and it be a month long trial or something crazy! LMAOOOOOO

This will be my first time getting picked so I don't have a clue what to expect. I do know that it's our duty to serve, but it would be a horrible time for me to do it at this time. Cross your fingers for me! :D

Robin, do you want to know what's absolutely wild? I ALSO got summoned for jury duty. LOL

I got my notice in the mail on Thursday. Mine says to be available from July to December. I guess I'll know more once I report on June 27th. I have always wanted to serve on a jury (I know, call me crazy!). I was picked once in Colorado, but had just moved to a different county and was therefore disqualified. If I'm picked, I hope it's something that can be dealt with quickly. I'd hate to be "on call" for six months....that could really screw up my vacation plans to go out West in September. :confused:

Mine says to be available from July to DecemberIf I have to do more than two weeks then they may have to come find me because I'm going on a weeks vacation at the end of this month to be with my Mom for her birhday and the 4th of July! LMAOOOOOO

Okay, I have gotten called three times for jury duty. I showed up two times and they NEVER pick me for any juries. They always ask if I have ever felt strongly enough about anything to write letters to the editors in the papers. DUH, LOTS OF TIMES! I guess they think I am too opinionated, lol. The third time I got called I had to ask to be excused. About a year and a half ago, I lost all hearing in my right ear and it is too hard to hear to try to listen to a lot of people talking.

LOL Robin, the local police officers told me to go to court and when they ask if you have ever heard of the case, just say "yes, my friend the police officer and I were just discussing this case the other day!" LOL, they will excuse you!

I think it would be interesting to be on the jury just to get the experience as long as I'm not in the middle of something major like rebuilding the forum.

ROFL OH THAT IS FUNNY. Ok I am trying to stop laughing here. I have never been called to jury duty ever in my life lol. Hopefully Robin you will get one of those good cases. Remember if you get board try saying in your mind everytime somebody says something "IN THE BATHTUB WITH SQUISHIES" Well it works with those hymonal books at church :)
